Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Field Engineer/Assistant Project Manager for Fond Du Lac, WI. The role blends office and field duties, ensuring project documentation is current, coordinating with design and field teams, and supporting RFIs, BIM coordination, scheduling, safety, and QC on commercial and industrial projects.

The candidate will help manage logs, timesheets, and progress tracking while assisting with daily field operations and closeout documentation.

Qualifications

Experience in construction management with exposure to commercial projects.
Experience in construction management with exposure to industrial projects.
Proficiency with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) for managing project documentation, logs, and coordination.
Proficiency with Bluebeam for drawing review, markups, and sequence planning.

Responsibilities

Update field drawing sets with RFIs and Bulletins to ensure latest documents are in use.
Assist in drafting, managing, and distributing RFIs to design teams and track responses.
Assist in reviewing subcontractor submittals against contract drawings and support review process.
Attend BIM coordination meetings to assist in clash detection and model-related RFIs.
Prepare and distribute meeting minutes documenting discussions and actions.
