Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Field Engineer for advanced Airborne Electronic Warfare systems. This on-site role is based at NSWC Crane in Crane, IN, with travel to CONUS and/or OCONUS locations as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer, Electronic, or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university, plus at least four years of field experience.
• Familiar with mechanical hand and power tools and how to safely use them.
• Travel requirement is 25%, with potential for additional travel to support fleet requests.

Responsibilities

• Write and validate procedures for fleet support and depot repairs.
• Collaborate with draftsmen to generate drawings and engineering documents.
• Perform engineering investigations and assist with Engineering Change Proposals.
• Respond to fleet requests for information as needed.
