Job summary

SAIC seeks a Test and Evaluation Engineer to support the Expeditionary Electronic Warfare Division at NSWC Crane. You will develop detailed test plans, procedures, and reports to verify and validate EW systems, and design laboratory and field tests, operating RF measurement equipment to analyze results.

The role involves coordinating with government engineers, PMs, and IPTs, identifying risks, and supporting test readiness reviews for DoD programs.

Qualifications

  • Experience in developmental test and evaluation activities for EW systems.
  • Ability to develop test plans, procedures and reports to verify system requirements.
  • Strong data analysis and test reporting skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support DT&E activities for EW systems across the lifecycle.
  • Develop detailed test plans, procedures, and test reports for verification and validation.
  • Design, plan, and execute laboratory and field tests including RF/microwave testing.
  • Configure and operate test instrumentation and data acquisition systems.
  • Analyze test data and produce assessments documenting capability and compliance.
  • Coordinate with government engineers, PMs, and IPTs for test planning and execution.
  • Identify risks, troubleshoot anomalies, and support root cause analysis during testing.
  • Support test readiness reviews, technical reviews, and DoD program documentation.
  • Assist in maintaining test schedules and coordinating resources.
