Job summary

RoVR is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer in NYC to embed with clinics and turn messy workflows into automated agent-based processes. You will own deployments end-to-end, from discovery to go live, including EHR integrations and custom workflows.

You will travel to customer sites a few times monthly and represent the voice of the customer inside our product and engineering teams. You will build and configure agent-based solutions, train staff, and drive adoption.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering experience in customer-facing or deployed roles.
• Strong Python and SQL proficiency.
• Experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and third-party integrations.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompting, agent workflows, and evaluation.
• Excellent communication and ability to demo or present to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery with clinics to map workflows and identify inefficiencies.
• Run pilots and live demos of real customer workflows from intake to production.
• Build and configure integrations with EHRs, telephony, and payer systems.
• Extend agents for clinic-specific workflows and write evaluative tests.
• Create custom workflows and internal tools when product gaps exist.
• Train staff and providers; drive adoption and customer outcomes after go-live.
• Gather field feedback to inform the product roadmap.
