Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Field Engineer for our CORE team in Mesa, AZ. You will participate in the safety program, perform self-directed craft tasks, and learn company standards on building processes. This role emphasizes teamwork with foremen, journeymen, and subcontractors.

You will engage in Lean practices, attend weekly plan meetings, and develop skills across layout and construction management while contributing to project success on industrial and manufacturing projects.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform work accurately and completely.
• Strong communication, verbal and written.
• Proficiency in MS Office and layout skills.
• Knowledge of crane flagging and rigging is a plus.
• Understanding of construction management methods and Lean process.

Responsibilities

• Actively participates in the project safety plan and culture.
• Works with tools and self-performs tasks embedded in a craft crew.
• Learns company standards and building techniques on the job.
• Builds relationships with trades, foremen, journeymen, supers, and subs.
• Incorporates Lean practices into daily activities and meetings.
• Participates in weekly work plans and site meetings.
