Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Field Services Technician in Fairbanks, AK to support all personnel locally and remotely by delivering and configuring PC hardware and software, and maintaining desktop applications in a Windows 11 environment.

The role covers smartphone and printer support, with occasional travel to remote sites. A valid driver’s license is required for this on-site position in Alaska.

Responsibilities

• The Field Services Technician will support personnel at local and remote locations with computer hardware and software delivery, configuration, installation, and maintenance.
• Provide support for desktop applications including Microsoft Office 365 and Windows 11 security tools.
• Provide smartphone support and printer support with occasional travel to remote locations.
• Candidate must have a valid driver’s license.

Job Description:

The Field Services Technician will support all personnel, both at local and remote locations, by providing reliable and efficient computer support services. These services will include the delivery of new hardware and software to desktops, and the configuration, installation, and maintenance of PC hardware and software. This position will include basic support of a large variety of desktop applications which include products such as Microsoft’s Office 365 suite, Microsoft Windows virus and threat protection software, and Adobe products in a Windows11 environment. Additional responsibilities include smart phone support and printer support. This position will require occasional travel to remote locations. Candidate must have a valid driver’s license.
