Job summary

eTeam Inc is seeking a technician to perform break-fix repairs on enterprise servers, blades, storage and networking gear in a data center setting. You will work with cross-functional teams to schedule outages, coordinate repairs and validate hardware functionality, while maintaining accurate inventory and paperwork.

Ideal candidates have hardware server or storage repair background, DC experience, strong communication and a proactive attitude.

Qualifications

• Background in hardware server and storage repairs.
• Data center experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Positive attitude and mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting.
• Server and storage training will be provided.
• Learn and retain proprietary processes.

Job description

Pay Rate: $22 - $25/Hour

Day to Day Work:

Break fix repair of Industry standard enterprise level servers, blades, storage and networking equipment. Working with various teams in the data center environment to schedule service outages, repairs, and validations, and inventory control and the associated paperwork. Interact in a professional manner with onsite customer personnel and the local team.

Requested Skills:

• Background in Hardware Server and /or Storage repairs, Data center experience as plus
