Job summary

The Lane Construction Corporation is seeking motivated Field Engineers to join a major highway project in South Carolina. You'll work in both the field and office, supporting project teams, ensuring safety, and delivering operations on schedule.

A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required, plus participation in Lane’s 2-Year Field Engineer Development Program, mentorship, and exposure to controls, estimating, scheduling, quality, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Support project teams by ensuring work aligns with plans and specs.
• Assist with scheduling, planning, and tracking project data.
• Prepare cost and time estimates to meet budgets and deadlines.
• Perform quantity take-offs and manage submittals.
• Assist with surveying and layout activities.
• Coordinate with utility providers before construction starts.
