Lane Construction is seeking a Field Engineer for the Central Florida region as part of the two-year Field Engineer Development Program (FEDP). This role offers hands-on experience in both the field and office, supporting a major highway project and learning from experienced professionals.

The FEDP provides structured technical and leadership training, mentorship, and exposure to estimating, scheduling, and project controls, with opportunities for career growth within Lane’s infrastructure

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist with coordinating field and office tasks to support project requirements.
• Support project scheduling and planning activities.
• Prepare cost and time estimates to help meet budgets and deadlines.
• Assist with surveying and layout activities.
• Track quantities, production rates, and project costs.
• Coordinate with utility providers before construction begins.
