Job summary

All American Exterior Solutions, Inc. seeks a full-time supervisor to assist the Director of Field Operations in overseeing commercial roofing installations throughout the Chicagoland area.

You will monitor daily activities, ensure shop drawing adherence, and participate in pre-construction and progress meetings. You’ll coordinate with foremen, perform QA walks, and develop safety plans for site-specific operations.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills in verbal and written form.
• Proficiency with Windows-based operating system and Microsoft Office.
• Comfortable climbing ladders and using hoists.
• Valid driver's license for local travel.
• OSHA certification required or equivalent.
• Experience coordinating teams and field operations.

Typical duties to include:

• Monitor daily activities and as needed compile reports on progress, compliance and obstacles.
• Confirm adherence to approved shop drawings.
• Attend pre-construction and progress meetings as well as other project or staff meetings.
• Work with foremen to determine proper solution that conforms to manufacturer requirements for any detail issues that may arise in the field.
• QA/pre-punch list walks with follow up reports and tracking.
• Developing and writing work orders to include proper material lists.
• Coordinate onsite deliveries with suppliers and general contractor.
• Work with other tools and equipment onsite and in proper working condition.
• Develop site specific safety plan and actively update or modify as needed.

Job Requirements:

• 2 years of work experience in commercial roofing industry.
• Proficiency with windows based operating system and Microsoft Office.
• Comfortable climbing ladders, stair towers, use exterior material hoists, or other hoisting equipment and not afraid of heights.
• Strong communication skills: verbal and written.
• Valid driver's license for local traveling.
• Pass pre-employment drug and alcohol test and background check.
• OSHA Certification.

Preferred but not required:

• Familiarity with scheduling software or estimating software.
