Job summary

RoofingSource is seeking a Service Foreman to lead roofing crews in Chicago, IL, reporting to Production. The role offers a full-time schedule with compensation of $30.00–$40.00 per hour. You will supervise installation and maintenance of commercial roofs and communicate with clients through tablets.

You will oversee safety, quality, and crew training while coordinating with the Foreman and Production teams on daily tasks. The company provides a vehicle, phone, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in roofing or related trade preferred but not required.
• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively.
• Ability to operate handheld devices such as tablets or smartphones.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain low-sloped roof systems; 5+ years experience preferred.
• Operate Leister welder, hot air gun, and propane torch.
• Follow job specs, warranties, safety guidelines, and quality standards.
• Create client reports via tablet and use technology for communication/receipts.
• Support Foreman with crew communication, training, and direction.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and maintain low-sloped roof systems (TPO, PVC, BUR, modified bitumen, EPDM); 5+ years experience preferred.
• Operate tools and equipment including Leister welder, hot air gun, and propane torch (preferred).
• Follow job specs, warranties, safety guidelines, and quality standards.
• Create client reports via tablet and use technology for communication/receipts.
• Support Foreman with communication, training, and directing crew members.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Prior roofing or related trade experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively
• Ability to operate handheld technology such as tablets and/or smartphones
