Gritt Robotics is developing advanced AI and robotics to automate the construction of energy infrastructure. The team is based in the San Francisco Bay Area and the founders are experts in robotics and AI from Stanford, MIT, and Carnegie Mellon. Gritt Robotics is backed by top VCs who have previously funded Uber and Notion.
Location: Frequent long travel to sites (70%), based out of the San Francisco Peninsula
About the Role
Gritt Robotics is looking for an experienced Field Engineer to lead deployments at remote customer solar installation sites and contribute to cutting-edge autonomy hardware. You will have a variety of responsibilities, including integrating autonomy hardware, traveling to execute deployments at customer sites, understanding customer needs, and reporting field progress. Additionally, you will be expected to troubleshoot & repair hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and hardware systems. We will expect you to grow with the company and take on additional leadership roles.
