Field Engineer (Remote)

Position Type: Direct Hire

Position Location: Nationwide (Can Sit anywhere in the United States)

Position Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 (Depending on Experience) + Bonus

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, environmental engineering, or a similar related field.
  2. Entry-level experience will be considered; 2+ years of similar background experience preferred.
  3. Must be open to sustained project-based travel within the US, at least 80% of the time.
  4. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams.
  5. Team players with the ability to meet deadlines, goals, and objectives.
  6. Design, planning, and communication skills that promote safe work and safe work products.
  7. Good oral, written, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are required.
  8. Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail.
  9. Highly motivated, with the ability to take initiative.
  10. HAZWOPER 40 hr. training is highly preferred but not required.
  11. Experience with Trimble Business Center or AutoCAD Civil 3D is preferred but not required.
  12. Valid driver's license with no restrictions interfering with job requirements.

Responsibilities:

  1. Work as a Field Engineer in the environmental remediation and geotechnical construction industry.
  2. Collaborate with management and health and safety teams.
  3. Perform quality control, surveying, KPI tracking, and other project-related responsibilities.
  4. Reside anywhere within the US; project locations will vary.
  5. Meet deadlines, communicate effectively, and adapt roles in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Be open to sustained project-based travel.
  7. Work in varied environments from office to field settings.
  8. Focus areas include procurement, project engineering, planning, submittals, CAD, project accounting, contracts, quality control, land surveying, etc.
  9. Physical demands include moving, climbing, lifting up to 25 lbs., and other physical activities as described.
