Job summary

Forge seeks an Insulation & Weatherization Energy Auditor to visit homes across Greater Boston and Eastern MA, assess insulation and air leakage, and write clear scopes for Mass Save projects. You’ll verify work meets standards, with most time in the field and some office reporting.

Mileage reimbursement is provided, and the role is full-time. You’ll need 2+ years in energy auditing, a valid driver's license, and Mass Save experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of energy auditing experience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen (we do not test for marijuana).
• Mass Save program experience.

Responsibilities

• In the Field: Conduct home assessments for insulation levels and air leakage, and perform combustion safety testing per BPI and Mass Save requirements.
• In the Office: Write scopes of work, enter results into Mass Save systems, maintain documentation, and coordinate with crews.
