Job summary

PEG, LLC seeks motivated professionals to perform Home Energy Audits for new residential construction, following RESNET and Energy Star guidelines. You will visually inspect insulation, ducts, and building envelope and use blower door/pressure testing to gauge performance.

Position centers on field work within a 100-mile radius of Savannah, GA, with paid on-the-job training and advancement through PEG’s certification programs. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel daily are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• HERS Rater, Energy Star, Green Building, ACCA 310 HVAC Grading, IECC, HVAC EPA, BPI, and LEED certifications are a plus.
• 2 years of work experience in HVAC, home remodeling, or construction is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Perform Home Energy Audits in accordance with RESNET/Energy Star Guidelines including visual observation of energy efficient features and testing procedures.
• Operate Blower Door and Duct Leakage Testing equipment to assess building performance to industry standards.
• Develop relationships with builders and code officials through professional communication.
