Job summary

PEG, LLC is seeking motivated individuals to learn Energy Sustainability and Building Energy Performance of New Residential Construction. You will become a certified HERS Rater while performing Home Energy Audits in accordance with RESNET guidelines.

The role includes paid training, data collection, visual inspections, and testing of energy systems, with travel within a 100-mile radius centered on Hackettstown, NJ. We value reliability and communication in client-facing work.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED; training provided for on-the-job audits.
• HERS Rater, Energy Star, Green Building and related certifications are a plus.
• 2 years experience in HVAC, home remodeling, or construction helpful.

Responsibilities

• Perform Home Energy Audits following RESNET/ ENERGY STAR guidelines.
• Conduct visual inspections of materials and installations.
• Collect data and test energy performance using appropriate equipment.
• Prepare electronic reports of audit findings.
• Maintain and transport audit equipment to sites within the 100-mile radius.
