Job summary

GiveDirectly is seeking a Training Materials & Field Operations Communications Specialist to translate and tailor survey designs and system updates into practical field training materials for multi-language teams in English, Portuguese, and French.

You will produce live trainings, write internal communications, and maintain release notes for a high-volume rollout across country teams, ensuring materials are clear, actionable, and accessible in Mozambique and the DRC.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Field Officer, or equivalent frontline data-collection role.
• Excellent written English with ability to write clearly for diverse audiences.
• Professional working proficiency in Portuguese or French, including written.
• Experience producing training or instructional material, and delivering training live to groups.
• Ability to translate technical or system changes into plain, practical instruction.

Responsibilities

• Build training materials to make new designs usable in the field.
• Write internal communications pitched to reader level.
• Deliver training live or record it when live training is not scalable.
• Own release notes and change documentation.
• Work across English, Portuguese and French to reach Mozambique and DRC teams.
• Be a useful pair of hands to a small, fast-moving product team and handle ad-hoc requests.
