Job summary

Parsons, a leading provider of federal solutions, is seeking a seasoned Electronics Technician to support FAA TSSC-5 contract activities nationwide. The role covers installation, testing, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of NAS electronic systems, aligning with FAA directives and safety standards.

The technician will read schematics, install and test equipment, and document actions while collaborating with senior staff, FAA counterparts, and project managers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• May require repetitive movement such as lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, and standing.
• Basic Microsoft suite and Internet, and E-mail.
• Must be able to meet customer security requirements.
• Must be able to travel up to 100% within the USA.
• Five plus years of working knowledge of: basic analog and digital electronics; RF and communications equipment; use of standard electronic test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, modify, test, troubleshoot, and repair NAS electronic systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on NAS equipment.
• Read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Document work activities and maintain logs.
• Coordinate with senior technicians, engineers, project managers, and FAA representatives.
