Job summary

Parsons is seeking an Electronics Technician III to support the FAA under the TSSC-5 contract. The role covers installation, testing, repair, and preventive maintenance of diverse electronic systems across NAS facilities and field sites.

Work involves following FAA directives, reading schematics, and coordinating with FAA representatives and project managers. Safety, security, and quality practices are required throughout field operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Ability to travel up to 100% within the USA.
• Must meet customer security requirements; federal background check performed.
• Background checks by federal authorities will be performed.
• Five plus years of working knowledge in analog/digital electronics and RF/communications equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, relocate, and remove electronic systems and equipment per drawings and installation standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair to unit/board/module level using standard test instruments.
• Read schematics, wiring diagrams, and FAA/contract documentation.
• Assist with power-up, alignment, and functional testing of NAS-related systems.
• Document maintenance logs, parts used, actions taken, and test results.
• Ensure safety, security, and quality practices per FAA and Parsons policies.
