Job summary

Parsons is seeking an Electronics Technician III to support FAA under the TSSC-5 contract. You will install, test, troubleshoot, and repair electronic systems across NAS environments, following FAA directives and site procedures.

The role requires working with schematics, test equipment, and field installations, with potential nationwide travel. Strong safety focus and ability to collaborate with engineers and technicians are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Must be able to travel up to 100% within the USA.
• Five plus years of working knowledge of basic analog and digital electronics.
• Fundamentals of RF and communications equipment.
• Use of standard electronic test equipment (DMMs, basic scopes, signal generators).
• Read and interpret basic schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Install, relocation, and removal of electronic systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair systems to the unit, board, or module level.
• Document work activities and maintain logs and test forms.
• Follow FAA/Parsons safety and quality procedures and site rules.
• Collaborate with senior technicians and engineers to support projects.
