Job summary

Parsons is seeking an Electronics Technician III to support FAA under the TSSC-5 contract across the United States. You will install, test, service, and repair a range of electronic systems including NAVAIDS, communications, and surveillance gear in field sites and facilities.

Under limited supervision, you will read schematics, follow FAA orders, perform preventive maintenance, and document actions in logs. Frequent travel up to 100% within the USA is required; safety and quality are emphasized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 5+ years of working knowledge in analog/digital electronics.
• Fundamentals of RF and communications equipment.
• Experience using standard electronic test equipment (DMMs, scopes, signal generators).
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Follow written and verbal instructions and standard procedures.
• Work safely in field, shop, and facility environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, relocation, and removal of electronic systems and equipment (NAVAIDS, communications, surveillance).
• Troubleshoot and repair at unit/board/module level; use test equipment.
• Read schematics and FAA orders; document actions and results.
• Assist with field installations and site work under TSSC‑5.
• Ensure safety, security, and quality standards are followed.
