Job summary

Parsons is seeking an Electronics Technician III to support the FAA under the TSSC-5 contract. You will install, test, troubleshoot, and repair electronic systems across NAS components, following FAA directives and project plans.

Work is field-based nationwide; you will document actions, operate test equipment, and collaborate with senior technicians and FAA staff while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Able to travel up to 100% within the USA.
• Basic Microsoft suite and Internet.
• Must meet customer security requirements; a background check will be performed.
• Five plus years of working knowledge of basic analog and digital electronics.
• Fundamentals of RF and communications equipment.
• Use of standard electronic test equipment (DMMs, scopes, signal generators).
• Read and interpret basic schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Follow written and verbal instructions and standard procedures; work safely in field environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, relocate, and remove electronic systems per drawings and installation standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair systems to the unit, board, or module level.
• Read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Document maintenance logs, service tickets, and test results per FAA requirements.
• Provide redline/as‑built information to senior technicians or engineers.
• Collaborate with senior technicians, engineers, project managers, and FAA representatives.
