Job summary

Parsons is seeking an Electronics Technician III to support FAA TSSC-5 contracts. The role involves installing, testing, and maintaining a range of electronic systems across diverse sites in the USA. You will troubleshoot, read schematics, and coordinate with senior staff to ensure program success.

Expect fieldwork with travel up to 100%, adherence to safety policies, and collaboration with engineers and project managers to meet performance objectives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Ability to travel up to 100% within the USA.
• Working knowledge of analog and digital electronics, RF and communications equipment.
• Experience using standard electronic test equipment (DMMs, scopes, generators).

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, relocation, and removal of electronic systems and equipment across sites.
• Troubleshoot and repair systems to unit, board, or module level.
• Read schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals; follow FAA orders and job plans.
• Assist with field installations, site work, and power-up testing under guidance.
• Maintain calibration of test instruments and document test results.
