Job summary

Amphenol Network Solutions in Shreveport, LA is seeking a Field Electronics Technician to install, configure, test, and commission power and monitoring systems within modular data center enclosures and shelters at customer facilities.

You will work with -48V DC power distributions, battery systems, and networked monitoring and control equipment, performing troubleshooting, documentation, and customer acceptance support. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electronics, telecommunications, or equivalent military training, or 3+ years of related experience.
• Preferred: 5+ years in telecommunications infrastructure or modular data center systems.
• Experience with power integration, commissioning, and data center environments.
• Ability to read electrical drawings, schematics and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, and verify -48V DC power distribution, battery, busbar, breakers and bonding.
• Configure and troubleshoot networked monitoring/ control equipment, including IPs and VLANs.
• Test and commission systems; document results and support customer acceptance.
• Serve as technical liaison among customers, enclosure manufacturers, and internal teams.
