Job summary

Amphenol Network Solutions in Shreveport, Louisiana, seeks a Field Electronics Technician to install, configure, test, and commission power and monitoring systems inside modular data center enclosures and equipment shelters at manufacturing facilities. Qualifications

• Associate degree in electronics, telecommunications, network administration, or equivalent military training; or 3+ years related experience.
• 5+ years of experience with telecommunications infrastructure, critical power, or modular data center systems.
• Experience with electrical and control drawings, telecom power and grounding practices, and manufacturing or mission-critical environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, and verify -48V DC power distribution, battery, busbar, breaker, fuse, grounding, and bonding systems.
• Configure and troubleshoot network-enabled monitoring and control equipment, including static IPs, subnet masks, gateways, DHCP and VLANs.
• Validate alarms and network communications before customer acceptance.
• Troubleshoot integration issues, document results and corrective actions, and support customer acceptance and sign-off.
• Serve as the technical liaison among Amphenol, enclosure manufacturers, quality personnel, and customers.
