Job summary

Parsons is seeking a technically skilled electrical technician to support FAA CIP modernization projects across the Central Service area with 100% travel. The role covers site preparation, power distribution, grounding, cabling, fiber, and installation tasks, with travel expenses paid and full benefits.

You will engage in installation, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical systems, documenting changes, and ensuring compliance with security requirements on diverse federal sites nationwide.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, etc.).
• Lift at least 50 pounds.
• Basic Microsoft Office, Internet, and E-mail.
• Must meet customer security requirements; federal background check will be performed.

Responsibilities

• Support site preparation for contractor installation of FENS racks and power circuits.
• Provide grounding and outlet circuits for contractor-furnished racks.
• Assist with cable trays, conduits, and fiber path installation at each site.
• Install and test LTE antenna paths and cabling as required.
• Drafting personnel convert redlines into as-built documents and assist with general installation tasks.
• Troubleshoot electrical components using schematics and wiring diagrams.
