Job summary

Parsons seeks a skilled technician for a travel-intensive role supporting FAA CIP modernization. You will assist site preparation, power, grounding, fiber installation, and cabling at sites across the Central Service Area.

The role requires lifting 50 pounds, basic computer skills, and the ability to pass a federal background check. Travel up to 100% is expected with full benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Must be able to travel up to 100% within the Central Service Area.
• Lift at least 50 pounds.
• Basic Microsoft suite, Internet, and E-mail.
• Must pass a background check by federal authorities.

Responsibilities

• Support site preparation for contractor installation of FENS racks and power circuits.
• Provide grounding and essential power circuits for contractor racks.
• Install and test fiber, cable trays, and conduits per FAA specs.
• Assist LTE antenna installation and path setup at sites.
• Draft as-built redlines; support general installation and construction work.
• Troubleshoot and calibrate electrical components using schematics and diagrams.
