Job summary

Just Construction Recruitment seeks an experienced EHS / Safety Coordinator to support electrical construction projects across the United States. You will help ensure OSHA compliance, develop safety plans, and coach field personnel on hazard recognition and safe work practices.

This field-based role requires strong communication, documentation skills, and the ability to work on diverse sites including commercial, industrial, healthcare and data center environments.

Qualifications

• Hazard recognition and risk assessment abilities.
• Experience implementing EHS programs and safety standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and incident reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Support EHS programs across electrical construction projects.
• Identify hazards and implement risk mitigation strategies.
• Conduct site safety inspections, audits and observations.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA, company and project requirements.
• Develop Site-Specific Safety Plans (SSSPs) and AHAs.
• Deliver toolbox talks, orientations, and safety stand-downs.
• Assist with incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Provide safety oversight for high-risk activities (fall protection, LOTO, confined space, electrical safety).
• Maintain safety records and support project safety meetings.
• Promote proactive safety culture and employee engagement.
