Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Project Deployment Technician - AC Power to perform technical start-up and commissioning of large, high-profile orders. You will work on-site across North America, reporting to the Supervisor, Site Leader, or Senior Project Start Up Engineer.

Typical projects last 6-12 months and on-the-job training will be provided. The role requires travel (~80%), a technical/undergraduate degree or equivalent experience, and ability to read electrical diagrams and troubleshoot using test

Qualifications

• Technical/Undergraduate Degree or equivalent industry experience is required.
• Strong ability to read electrical diagrams and interpret blueprints.

Responsibilities

• On-site and phone technical assistance to customers.
• Scheduled maintenance per company guidelines.
• Implement Field Change Notices.
• Stay current on Safety Bulletins and Service Tips.
• Timely reporting: timecards, expenses, mileage, ticket closure.
