Job summary

Vertiv Corporation is seeking a Project Deployment Technician for AC Power to perform start-up and commissioning of large UPS and switchgear on customer sites. Travel is approximately 80% across North America, with on-site work and reporting to the Supervisor or Senior Engineer.

Projects typically run 6–12 months and include accelerated on-the-job training. You will provide on-site technical support, routine maintenance, and implement Field Change Notices while staying current with safety

Qualifications

• Technical read and interpret electrical diagrams.
• Familiarity with electrical/electronic test equipment.
• Strong understanding of Ohm's Law and electronics theory.
• Troubleshooting abilities on site.
• Mechanical and tool aptitude.

Responsibilities

• On-site and phone technical assistance to customers.
• Scheduled maintenance per company guidelines.
• Implement Field Change Notices.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and PPE requirements.
• Report timecards, expenses, mileage and ticket closure.
