Job summary

Amentum in Anchorage, AK seeks an Electrical Maintenance Technician to inspect, repair, test and maintain electrical generating equipment, water distribution systems, flood lights, air compressors, and aircraft arresting systems per USAF and company standards.

You will read schematics, use meters and test equipment, and prepare work orders and Maximo documentation while ensuring safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years related experience; BEAR experience is a plus.
• Read electrical schematics and perform inspections.
• Domestic and international travel may be required.
• Must be able to obtain Public Trust U.S. Government Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Examine electrical equipment for damage and operation.
• Use test equipment and meters (voltmeters, ammeters, megohmmeters, oscilloscopes).
• Repair and service electrical power distribution systems.
• Interpret drawings, schematics, blueprints and maintenance data.
• Prepare Work Orders and Maximo documentation.
• Ensure safety and comply with USAF and company directives.
