Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Electrician Maintenance for Creech Air Force Base to perform a range of electrical trade functions, including installation, maintenance and repair of equipment used for generation and distribution of electrical energy. Candidates must read blueprints, diagnose electrical problems, perform load calculations, and operate a variety of testing instruments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years' experience as an electrician (apprenticeship may apply).
• Ability to read blueprints/drawings and locate faults.
• Proficient with electrician hand tools and testing equipment.
• Must understand Lock-out/Tag-out safety procedures and able to work under safety rules.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain US Government security clearance (US citizenship required).

Responsibilities

• Installs or repairs electrical equipment including generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, and motors.
• Install, test, maintain and repair fire safety and security systems for facilities.
• Diagnose trouble from blueprints/layouts and specified drawings.
• Perform load calculations for wiring and equipment.
• Respond to service calls within required timeframes and adhere to safety programs.
• Maintain company vehicle and uphold quality controls.
