Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Electrician Maintenance at Creech Air Force Base to perform a broad range of electrical trade functions including installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment used to generate, distribute, and utilize electric energy.

You will read blueprints and schematics to locate faults in electrical systems and diagnose problems with generators, transformers, switchboards, and related devices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 4 years’ experience as an electrician.
• Must obtain US Government security clearance.
• US citizenship required for clearance.
• Must have a valid state driver’s license.
• Must be able to interpret blueprints/drawings.
• Lockout-Tagout knowledge and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Install or repair electrical equipment such as generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, or conduit systems.
• Install, test, maintain and repair fire safety and security systems.
• Diagnose trouble from blueprints, drawings, layouts, or specifications.
• Perform load calculations for wiring and equipment.
• Respond to service calls within required time frames and adhere to safety programs.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and routine maintenance on equipment.
