Job summary

Amentum is seeking a General Maintenance Technician (Electrical) to join the team. The role focuses on electrical maintenance, repair, and installations to keep facilities running safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities include inspections, troubleshooting, and following NEC/OSHA standards. Strong reading of blueprints and collaboration with engineers are essential. TS/SCI with poly clearance noted for this position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of electrical service/maintenance experience.
• Journeyman license or equivalent certification required.
• Familiarity with NEC and safety standards.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical maintenance, repair, and installation tasks.
• Conduct routine inspections, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures and PPE requirements.
• Maintain detailed records of repairs and inspections.
• Collaborate with technicians and engineers to complete tasks.
