Job summary

Accenture Construct is seeking a field inspector to perform electrical construction inspections for Caltrans projects in Southern California. You will inspect conduits, cabinets, power distribution equipment, and related infrastructure at active work sites, including nighttime operations and closures.

This on-site role requires 15+ years of experience, a valid driver's license, and deep knowledge of CEC, NEC/NFPA 70, NFPA 70E, and Cal/OSHA safety rules.

Qualifications

• Fifteen years full-time related paid professional experience.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel in Southern California.
• Strong understanding of CEC, NEC/NFPA 70, NFPA 70E and Cal/OSHA safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections of electrical construction for Caltrans projects.
• Inspect conduits, pull and junction boxes, cabinets, and power distribution equipment.
• Verify installations meet standards and safety requirements.
• Observe testing, startup, commissioning, and acceptance testing; document deficiencies.
• Coordinate with contractors and Caltrans reps on RFIs, submittals, field changes, and sequencing.
• Prepare daily inspection reports and photographic documentation.
• Onsite at client site to enable delivery and maintain client relationships.
