Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Foundational knowledge of electrical power systems, power distribution, protective relaying, motor controls, and electrical safety practices.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical engineering support for power-distribution equipment and HV/MV/LV systems.
• Assist with design and execution of projects including load-flow, short-circuit, relay-coordination, arc-flash, motor-starting, and harmonic studies (Windmil, ETAP, EasyPower).
• Support protective-relay settings and programming for SEL and Multilin relays.
• Assist with relay-testing activities and low-voltage protection coordination studies.
• Provide technical support for power-electronic equipment (VFDs, soft starters, excitation controls).
• Support system modeling and reliability improvements (capacitor banks, voltage regulators).
• Participate in factory acceptance testing, commissioning, and start-up for electrical equipment.
• Review test results for cables, motors, transformers, switchgear, breakers, and protective devices.
• Develop field-ready switching procedures and support safe load-transfer activities.
• Participate in root-cause analyses of electrical failures to improve reliability.
