Job summary

Bechtel Corporation in Brownsville, TX is seeking a field engineering professional to support planning, material management, quantity verification and safety and quality control for the Rio Grande LNG project.

You will coordinate system turnover activities, work with subcontractors, review test plans, and ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards while delivering on schedule and quality requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 2–5 years of relevant experience or 6–9 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience supervising and administering subcontractors.
• Thorough knowledge of construction activities as they relate to engineering disciplines, cost and scheduling, and contract administration.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and coordinates planning for construction methods and procedures.
• Interfaces in planning construction methods and procedures.
• Verifies quantities and manages field purchases.
• Ensures safety and quality control and zero-accident adherence on-site.
• Demonstrates ongoing learning and professional development.
• Develops understanding of system turnover and package development.
• Reviews and approves inspection test plans and coordinates subcontractor submittals.
