Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Electrical Mechanical Technician to support customers in the Philadelphia area. This is a full-time field-service role with local travel and on-call requirements.

You will perform maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on conveyor and sorting systems, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, and provide direct technical support to customers. Strong communication and the ability to work independently in the field are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems in field service.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving and time management skills required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on conveyor and sorting systems
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and software issues to restore equipment uptime
• Respond to emergency and scheduled service calls, ensuring timely resolution
• Install and support new equipment and system upgrades
• Manage parts inventory and tools on-site
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and service documentation
• Provide technical support and training to junior technicians
• Communicate directly with customers to ensure service satisfaction
• Stay current with system updates, service bulletins, and technical improvements
