Job summary

Skyland Grain, LLC is seeking an EHS Specialist II to identify gaps to regulatory and company standards, and to work with facility teams on improvements. The role is primarily on site at facilities with travel up to 50% and this position requires practical knowledge to perform with minimal supervision.

You will lead incident investigations, support training, and monitor EHS programs across regions. A Bachelor's in EHS or engineering and 4+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in EHS or engineering.
• Discipline-related certifications in EHS.
• 4+ years of relevant EHS experience, agriculture preferred.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local EHS regulations.
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses.
• Provide education and training on EHS programs.
• Coach supervisors and employees on EHS requirements.
• Oversee data accuracy in EHS databases and reporting.
• Travel to facilities up to 50% as needed.
