Job summary

Sheakley Workforce Staffing is seeking a Site EHS Representative to support multiple DC-area construction projects. This on-site role acts as the safety resource, conducting field observations, inspections, and reporting to ensure compliance with OSHA/EM385 and project requirements.

The ideal candidate will have OSHA 30/510, EM385, First Aid/CPR/AED, and 3+ years of construction safety experience, with strong communication and field leadership. Travel across the DC metro area is required.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 Certification.
• OSHA 510 Certification.
• EM385 Certification or ability to obtain EM385.
• First Aid/CPR/AED Certification.
• 3+ years of construction safety experience.
• Target experience level of 3-5 years in safety roles.
• Experience conducting site inspections and safety observations.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine jobsite safety inspections and audits.
• Perform field observations and document findings.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EM385, and project-specific safety requirements.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and safety concerns.
• Provide safety training and toolbox talks.
• Develop and maintain safety documentation and reports.
• Communicate corrective actions and follow up on implementation.
• Partner with project teams to proactively identify and mitigate hazards.
• Support safety initiatives across multiple active projects
• Promote a positive and collaborative safety culture.
