Komatsu Mining Corp. is seeking a Field Service EHS Specialist to support mining, aggregate, construction, and industrial operations.

You will drive regulatory compliance, conduct audits, deliver MSHA Part 48 training, and support risk reduction while building a strong safety culture across multiple sites. The role requires up to 95% travel including overnights; the ideal candidate will have 4+ years of EHS experience in mining environments, and an Associate degree in a safety/environmental

Competenze

• Minimum of 4 years of EHS experience in mining, aggregate, quarry, construction, industrial, or heavy manufacturing environments.
• Minimum of 4 years supporting MSHA-regulated operations.
• Experience conducting incident investigations, compliance audits, risk assessments, and corrective action management.
• Experience in developing, scheduling, and delivering employee safety training.

Mansioni

• Lead implementation and continuous improvement of mine safety and environmental management systems.
• Conduct routine site inspections, compliance audits, workplace examinations, and risk assessments.
• Investigate incidents, injuries, near-misses, and environmental events using root cause analysis techniques.
• Develop and deliver safety training programs, including MSHA Part 48 training requirements.
• Support mine management with regulatory inspections and interactions with MSHA and environmental agencies.
• Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local regulations; assist with environmental programs.
