Job summary

Amrize is seeking an Operations Management Intern for Summer 2027 in Moorhead, MN. The 10-week, paid internship offers hands-on exposure to production, maintenance, and operational processes at Ready Mix sites.

Students will collect data, learn equipment operation, and collaborate with geology, engineering, and safety teams to drive improvements. You will present your learnings to executive leadership at the end of the internship, with substantial field exposure and a strong emphasis on safety

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program majoring in Construction Management, Concrete Industry Management, Finance, Business Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
Strong academic performance with a solid understanding of engineering principles.
Geographic flexibility to work at various sites.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Willingness to spend significant time in the field.

Responsibilities

Hands-on learning across operational procedures, production/maintenance activities, and product knowledge at Ready Mix sites.
Collect and analyze data to identify correlations and support project strategies.
Learn maintenance and operation of heavy equipment with operators.
Collaborate with geology, engineering, and safety teams to understand operations.
Adhere to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments.
Present learnings to executive leadership at internship end.
