Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. is seeking a Mining Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 at our Lockport, NY site.

This 10‑week, paid internship offers hands-on exposure to aggregate operations, data-driven insights, and cross‑functional collaboration with geology, engineering, and safety teams. You will participate in safety protocols, learn maintenance and production processes, and prepare an executive presentation at internship end.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program majoring in Mine Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar fields.
• Strong academic performance with a solid understanding of engineering principles.
• Geographic flexibility to work at various sites.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on learning across operational procedures, production/maintenance activities, and product knowledge at Aggregate sites.
• Collect and analyze data to identify process correlations and support project strategies.
• Gain hands-on experience with daily mine operations including drilling, blasting, loading, and hauling.
