ARCO Design/Build in Salt Lake City is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to help manage the field lifecycle of industrial projects. You’ll work with senior teams to ensure safety, on-time delivery, and quality across trades.

You’ll coordinate preconstruction, scheduling, subcontractors, and equipment while maintaining daily site records and supporting cost tracking. A driver’s license and strong communication are essential.

Formación

• Recent or soon-to-be graduate from accredited programs in Civil, Mechanical, Architectural, Construction Management, Building Science, or Construction Engineering.
• Interest in design/build, tilt-up concrete, industrial builds.
• Previous construction experience is preferred but not required.
• Possess a valid driver's license in your state of residence.
• GPA 3.0+ preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Project.
• Excellent verbal communication, attention to detail, and strong work ethic.

Responsabilidades

• Preconstruction Planning: review project details and assist with planning before work begins.
• Project Scheduling: develop construction schedules, sequencing, staffing plans, and equipment needs.
• Field Leadership: oversee daily construction activities, ensuring safety, on schedule, and within budget.
• Subcontractor Coordination: manage subcontractor activities and communicate schedule updates.
• Material & Equipment Management: assist with deliveries, equipment coordination, drawings approvals, and submittals.
• Progress & Cost Tracking: help prepare progress reports and monitor project costs.
• Owner & Design Team Communication: maintain regular communication with owners, architects, and project stakeholders.
• Jobsite Meetings: lead and participate in coordination meetings with teams and subcontractors.
• Documentation: maintain daily reports and site records.
• Safety Leadership: promote and enforce safety programs on site.
• Team Collaboration: work with PMs and field teams to align office and field operations.
