Job summary

S&ME is seeking a full-time Driller to join our Field Exploration team in Knoxville, Tennessee. The role involves leading underground drilling operations, coordinating a team of drillers, and ensuring equipment readiness for diverse projects.

Applicants should have 3+ years in geotechnical/environmental drilling, CDL and a valid Driller license, and strong English communication skills. Occasional travel with paid hotels and per diem are possible.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Geotechnical and/or Environmental Drilling experience.
• English language communication skills (speaking, reading, writing) required.
• CDL and valid Driller license required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee drilling operations for assigned projects under supervision of senior driller.
• Coordinate mobilization of drill equipment and materials with management approval.
• Maintain, calibrate, and inspect drilling and testing equipment.
• Ensure safety, quality control, and adherence to project specifications.
