Job summary

Sealaska seeks Driller Assistant Technicians to support drilling operations from setup through abandonment. The role involves fieldwork, safety reporting, and team collaboration with the Driller and crew. Seasonal helpers are reviewed after 90 days based on performance and business needs.

Candidates must pass a 10-panel drug test, alcohol screening, Fit-for-Duty evaluation, and provide a DMV MVR. Job duties include pre-trip inspections, zone setup, labor tasks, and equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Willingness to travel extensively.
• HAZWOPER, Forklift, CPR/First-Aid certifications preferred.
• Ability to pass yearly physical and random drug tests.
• Mechanical ability to perform minor repairs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-trip inspection.
• Set up a control zone.
• Perform physical labor, shoveling, drilling debris, and transporting materials.
• Maintain equipment.
• Fill in for driller when qualified.
• Know safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain certifications required by the Industry or OSHA.
• Forklift trained.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
