Job summary

Sealaska is seeking a Driller Operator to lead the crew and prepare equipment and sites for drilling operations from implementation through abandonment. The role requires moving between sites, heavy physical work and a strong focus on safety. Office locations are referenced in related postings; field work is primary.

Candidate should have CDL A/B, be willing to travel extensively, and demonstrate leadership and clear communication. Environmental/rotary drilling experience is valued.

Qualifications

• CDL A or B required; Class A preferred or willing to obtain Class A.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Background in environmental or rotary drilling is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ability to work up to 55 hours per week doing physical labor (up to 12 hours per day).
• Set up control zone and preparation of drilling site.
• Maintain equipment and perform minor repairs.
• Conduct pre-trip inspection and follow safety policies.
