Job summary

HMT in Beaumont, TX is seeking a Dome Superintendent to oversee field operations for aboveground storage tank projects. You will supervise Field Foremen, collaborate with Operations and Project Managers, and ensure work is performed efficiently, safely, and to quality standards.

Expect significant travel (75%+). Qualified candidates have at least 2 years as a Foreman in AST, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a TWIC Card.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or an accepted alternative.
• Minimum 2 years of Field Foreman experience in AST (Above Ground Storage Tank) industries.
• At least 2 years of Foreman experience.
• TWIC Card required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure field jobs are executed efficiently, on time, and under budget with available resources.
• Communicate problems to Operations and Project Managers and assist in resolution.
• Coordinate with Operations on schedules and performance issues.
• Ensure adherence to all HMT safety policies and QA/QC procedures.
• Perform at least 12 jobsite safety inspections per year and document per safety manual.
• Assist with maintenance of HMT-owned equipment and report issues to Operations.
• Support Project Manager in identifying scope changes and communicate them to stakeholders.
• Coordinate communication among team, customer, and subcontractors; assist with site walks and scope development for quotes.
• Translate site measurements into sketches for engineering and scope planning (as-built drawings).
• Train crew members in assembly and setting of domes; support HMT Mentoring Program.
