Job summary

LiftOne in Chattanooga, TN is seeking an experienced Dock and Door Road Technician to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair loading dock systems and doors. You will perform preventative maintenance on customer equipment and manage paperwork for completed jobs while maintaining the company van and inventory.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED (or tech school), welding certification or demonstrated welding experience, safety-mindedness, and good customer service.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma/GED or tech school training.
• Certified welder or ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hire.
• Welder apprenticeship completed or three years welding experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify and diagnose system problems based on customer input.
• Perform repairs in a safe, efficient manner and verify operation.
• Travel to customer sites and parts pickups as needed.
• Complete all required documentation after each job.
• Maintain company van and parts inventory and ensure safety compliance.
