Job summary

LiftOne is seeking experienced Dock and Door Road Technicians in Alabama. The role involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing loading dock and door systems, plus performing preventative maintenance on customer equipment.

You will manage company vehicles, keep parts inventory, and complete all job paperwork accurately. The position emphasizes safety, customer service, and reliable onsite support, with responsibilities including documenting work, sourcing parts, and meeting customer

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or tech school preferred.
• Must be a certified welder or obtain certification within 30 days of hire.
• Welder apprenticeship or 3 years welding experience required.
• Ability to read and comprehend regulations/instructions written in local language(s).
• Ability to perform duties at elevated heights.
• Demonstrated ability to repair equipment per skill level.
• Basic computer/tablet knowledge (Microsoft and Apple).
• Valid driver license with clean record.
• Demonstrates exceptional customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify the general problem based on customer concern and locate the failure.
• Perform repairs safely and efficiently and verify proper operation.
• Travel to customer sites and pickups to address on-site needs.
• Obtain customer approval for repairs and conduct basic maintenance.
• Process documentation after each job, inventory parts and time.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Identify and order replacement parts as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
